WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO

Clovis Auto Shop is a Star Certified Smog Inspection and Repair Station licensed by the state of California. Being a Star “smog inspection and repair station” vs. a “test only” facility, means we are authorized by the Bureau of Automotive Repairs to perform smog inspections, as well as diagnose and repair vehicles which have failed the smog check.

If your DMV registration renewal requires a smog check at a Star Certified Test Station, you may bring it to our shop. We'll be more than happy to take-a-look and give you an honest inspection. We will also send your smog certificate information electronically to DMV within seconds of a pass. If your vehicle fails smog, we have you covered there too!

Clovis Auto Shop is certified to inspect all DMV required vehicles. Our reputation has been our trademark and is a result of honesty, integrity, and personal attention to each-and-every one of our customers.

We are also participants of the Bureau of Automotive Repair’s (BAR) Consumer Assistance Program (CAP), which offers eligible consumers repair assistance and vehicle retirement options to help improve California's air quality. Ask one of our friendly service advisors for additional information.
